DESCRIPTION:DuPagePads is Ending Homelessness One Step at a Time\n\nRegistration Now Open for 10th Annual Run 4 Home- 10K & 5K Run\, 5K Walk\n\n\n\nDuPagePads is calling all walkers and runners\, individuals and families to the 10th Annual Run 4 Home on Saturday\, September 6\, 2014 at 8am\, beginning at 703 West Liberty in Wheaton. \n\n\n\nThis 10K and 5K CARA approved course will appeal to serious runners\, casual joggers and walkers.\n\n\n\nFundraising for this event will help provide critical support services to families and individuals who are homeless in DuPage County.\n\nDuPagePads believes everyone should have a place to call "home".\n\nOpen 365 days a year\, the agency's solution to ending homelessness is providing housing\, coupled with support services and employment. "Homelessness is a community issue and yet\, many people living in DuPage County are unaware that there is a homeless population" said Carol Simler\, Executive Director of DuPagePads. "Last year\, we served 1\,451 individuals\, 245 children and 140 families. We know we have the solution to end homelessness and we count on events like this and generous individuals and organizations to help us as we End Homelessness One Step at a Time!"\n\n"We are incredibly thankful for our supporters. From volunteers to runners and walkers\, to our sponsors\, every effort makes an impact on our mission."\n\n\n\nThe entire community is invited to come and support DuPagePads mission to end homelessness. Individual runners\, families\, groups of friends\, companies\, clubs and congregations are all encouraged to be a part of the FUNdraiser!\n\n\n\nFollowing the race\, everyone is invited to stay for music\, refreshments and prizes.
