DESCRIPTION:Kiwanis Club of Glen Ellyn\, Kiwanis Club of Central DuPage County\, Key Clubs of Glenbard East and Glenbard South\, Builders Clubs of Glen Crest and Hadley Middle Schools and WDSRA Aktion Club\n\nIn partnership with the Glen Ellyn Park District\n\n\n\nis pleased to continue the annual fish release project!\n\n\n\nFoxcroft Lake is being evaluated by the Glen Ellyn Park District pursuant to what fish are needed to keep these waters healthy and environmentally strong. Fish will be purchased from the Kane-DuPage Department of Soil and Water Conservation.\n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, April 16\, children of all ages are invited to join us for a fish release. Each participant is asked to bring a non- perishable food item for the Glen Ellyn food pantry. They are given a bucket of fish which they carry to the water's edge and release. This continues until all fish reach their new water home.\n\n\n\nEventually we expect to expand this project to include Lake Ellyn.\n\n\n\nHow often do all children have the opportunity to actively improve their community and the environment while having a great time?\n\n\n\nWe are looking for sponsors at the $100.00 level to fund the purchase of small fish for this project.\n\n\n\nSponsors will be recognized in all promotional materials and at the event.\n\n\n\nThank you for considering this amazing project.\n\n\n\nFor questions please call: Rosie Reiter (630) 529-4370\n\n\n\nSponsorships can be mailed to: Kiwanis Fish Release PO Box 440\, Glen Ellyn\, IL 60138
