DESCRIPTION:The Glen Ellyn Backyard BBQ Cook-Off welcomes BBQ chefs who want to put their grilling skills to the test in the 5th Annual Glen Ellyn Backyard BBQ Cook-Off.   60 teams will participate in the largest amateur competition in the state of Illinois.  \n\n\n\nYou can be a part of the fun!\n\n\n\nJoin us on September 14th!  You are guaranteed delicious food\, cold drinks and fantastic blues.\n\n\n\nThe event is open to the entire family with a Piglet Playland sponsored by the BR Ryall YMCA from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.\n\n\n\n\n\nEnjoy a Full Menu of BBQ favorites from:\n\nBrand of the Run BBQ\n\nSmokin' Wills - serving baby-back and spare ribs\n\nHusky Hog BBQ - serving pulled pork\, pulled chicken\, baked beans\, slaw and mac-n-cheese\n\nTap House Grill - serving slider mini-hamburgers\, hotdogs\, corn-on-the-cob and Italian pasta salad\n\nSkuddlebutt's - serving baby-back ribs\, pull pork\, hamburgers and hotdogs\n\n\n\nAlong with delicious desserts from Giavia Sweets (serving cupcakes and macaroons) and Dippin' Dots (serving ice cream).\n\n\n\nA Full Day of Blues Entertainment\n\nFruitland Jackson play at 11:00 am\n\nChainsaw DuPont play at 1:00 pm\n\nAmy Kelly with the Bill Ande Band play at 4:00 pm\n\nCadillac Dave & His Chicago Redhots play at 7 pm\n\n\n\nBackyard BBQ Cornhole Bags Tournament\n\nTournament check-in time is 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
