DESCRIPTION:The Generational Shift: Navigating a Way Forward\n\n Bridging the Generational Gap is what this workshop is all about. There is a huge generational shift taking place in the world. Some find this exhilarating while others are left scratching their heads not only wondering what happened but also trying frantically to figure out how to stay relevant. Millennials and Gen Z have upset the status quo that has existed for over half a century and organizations need to learn a new way of recruitment\, retention\, and engagement. This workshop will help you understand how we got here and offer practical steps to move forward that you can apply in your own organization.\n\n \n\n\n	\n		\n			\n			Presenter\n\n			Dr. Katherine Jeffery \n\n			She is a culture-shaping leader\, coach\, and visionary with over 20 years of experience developing and studying leaders in a variety of holistic environments. Her doctoral research focused on the Millennial generation\, their view of leadership\, and the ways it is impacting the workplace today. \n\n			 \n			 \n		\n		\n			\n\n			\n			Cynthia Thomas\, ComEd External Affairs Manager.  Cynthia has been with ComEd for 20yrs and has held multiple positions supporting Customer Operations.  In her current role she serves as the point of contact for 18 villages and cities within the DuPage County limits.  She will be presenting Energy Efficiency information and the benefits related to the Future Energy Jobs Act (FEJA).
