It tells the story of Indigenous visionaries\, scientists\, and communities working to rematriate the buffalo   bringing large herds back to the Great Plains after centuries of near-extinction.\n\n \n\n\nThe documentary follows the buffalo's journey across the Northern Plains in 2022\, meeting with leaders such as Blackfoot Elder Leroy Little Bear.
