DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, January 26th at 2 p.m.\, Chicago Historian and Professor\, Ann Durkin Keating\, Revisits the Battle of Fort Dearborn at the Glen Ellyn History Center. \n\nThe Professor will discuss the Fort Dearborn Massacre and information in her book\, "Rising Up From Indian Country." \n\nProfessor Keating is a professor of history at North Central College in Naperville.  She is co-editor of 'The Encyclopedia of Chicago' and has authored several books including 'Chicagoland: City and Suburbs in the Railroad Age'\,  'Chicago Neighborhoods and Suburbs: A Historical Guide'\, and 'Rising Up From Indian Country'. \n\n\n\nAdmission to this GEHS program is $5 for GEHS members\, $7 for non-members\, Students are FREE.\n\nTickets are available at Stacy's Corners Store /History Center\, 800 N.
