DESCRIPTION:The Glen Ellyn Historical Society is honored to present a special exhibit showcasing the extraordinary handmade quilts by the late Barbara Leak\, a Glen Ellyn resident at historic Stacy's Tavern Museum\, an award winning 1846 traveler's inn and stagecoach stop at 577 Geneva Road in Glen Ellyn\, Illinois.\n\n\n\nA Grand Opening Wine and Cheese Reception will be Saturday\, April 9 from 4-6 p.m. Reception tickets will cost $10.00.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Barbara Ann Weber Leak Quilt Show will be open to the public from Saturday\, April 9 to Saturday\, June 4\, 2016.\n\n\n\nDon't miss the opportunity to view an outstanding collection of traditional quilts that reflects the very essence of American Folk Art\, and to tour a highly acclaimed fully furnished historic museum with wonderful examples of antique American country furniture.\n\n\n\nStacy's Tavern was named by the State of Illinois as one of the finest restorations in the state.\n\n\n\nA Grand Opening Wine and Cheese Reception will be Saturday\, April 9 from 4-6 p.m. Reception tickets will cost $10.00.\n\n\n\nThe exhibit continues every Wednesday and Saturday from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. through June 4.\n\n\n\nGeneral admission will be $5.00\, $2.50 for youth under 18\, children 5 and under are free.\n\nStacy's Tavern Museum is located in north Glen Ellyn on Geneva Road\, at the intersection of Main Street\, Geneva and St. Charles Roads.\n\nFree parking is available at the Glen Ellyn History Center\, 800 N.
