DESCRIPTION:Fox Valley SCORE has partnered with Microsoft to offer a Lunch and Learn for Veterans that are in business or thinking about getting into business in the Fox Valley area. This event will be held at the Microsoft Store in Oak Brook\, Il. SCORE\, America?s premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses\, is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation\, growth and success of small business nationwide. More than 11\,000 volunteers provide mentoring and workshops to local business communities. SCORE offers free mentoring services\, free and low cost workshops and digital assistance through websites that have tools templates and webinars that are free. Fox Valley SCORE has 100 members in the Fox Valley area where we have 15 office locations to meet with clients and help them with their business issues. SCORE and Microsoft want to offer an opportunity for Veterans in business or starting a business to network in an environment that is conducive to their needs. That is why this will be a Veteran only event. We will offer: * Networking with other Veterans and SCORE mentors * Microsoft education workshop dealing with a technical topic that is of value to small business. Skype for business\, Outlook in the Cloud\, or Managing e-mail\, Contacts and Calendars. * Microsoft Technical people will be available at the event to answer some Technical questions and issues. * Sharing of a calendar of Free workshops for Veterans in business in the Fox Valley area. * Learn about special deals and discounts Microsoft offers to Veterans.
