The Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce and the Glen Ellyn Village Fair Committee will once again join together to Present the COMMUNITY AWARDS BREAKFAST on Saturday, March 7, 2015.  

These Awards are the most prestigious and highest honors awards that are presented in the Village of Glen Ellyn and are presented to recognize a devotion to significantly improving the quality of life in Glen Ellyn!


The Chamber is seeking Nominations for these categories:
Citizen of the Year 
Senior Citizen of the Year
Outstanding Business of the Year
Non-Profit Organization of the Year

This Event recognizes the Outstanding Citizen of the Year, Outstanding Senior, Outstanding Business, Outstanding Non-Profit Organization.  

AND...

Educator of the Year (for each School District: 41, 89, and 87), Park District Volunteer of the Year,  Firefighter of the Year, and Police Officer of the Year for their Outstanding Contributions to Glen Ellyn in 2014.    (these selections are made by their respective organizations)

The Community Awards Breakfast honors individuals or organizations that have been active in the community and have worked on or developed specific projects to benefit Glen Ellyn. 

To be eligible, the individual must be a resident of Glen Ellyn .. OR... the organization must be active in the Glen Ellyn community. The individual or organization must have worked on or developed specific projects to benefit Glen Ellyn. Also, the nominee would have volunteered time, energy, and devotion to significantly improving the quality of life in Glen Ellyn.

Here is a great opportunity for all of the Glen Ellyn Community to weigh in on who they believe is the `Best of the Best` of Glen Ellyn.
