Event DescriptionThe Chamber Ambassadors are dedicated to enhancing the public image of the Chamber and of the community as a whole. Chosen for their commitment to this purpose, the Ambassadors promote goodwill, boost Chamber business and promote Glen Ellyn. Through their activities they encourage solidarity within the Chamber membership and foster a better understanding of the role of the Glen Ellyn Chamber. Committee members have been active Chamber members for several years and have actively participated on another committee, served as a committee chair, or held positions on the Board of Directors.
The Ambassadors act as official hosts and hostesses of the Glen Ellyn Chamber at all Chamber events. Ambassadors attend Ribbon Cuttings, Business After Hours and Business Before Hours events. They organize, promote and sponsor the annual Steak Fry held in August.
