Description
“Discovering Marie Curie,” a one woman play is presented at the Glen Ellyn History Center , 800 N. Main Street, on Saturday, March 4 at 2:00 PM features actress and teacher, Dr. Maria Bakalis. Tickets for the performance are sold at Stacy's Corners Store, the same address as the History Center. Call 630-469-1867 for reservations. Adults are $12, Adult GEHS members are $10 and students 18 and under are $5. This presentation is a great opportunity for students to learn about Dr. Curie. The information would be useful for all STEM and STEAM projects at School Districts 89 and 41. Madame Curie was an extraordinary woman who dedicated her life to the pursuit of scientific discovery and scientific inquiry. Refreshments are served.
