Event Description:
Please join Dr. Andrew Veit for an evening of contemporary and classical percussion music. At the recital, the audience will hear music played on drums, vibraphone, found objects (such as cans, bottles, and pipes), and even through spoken voice.? This will be Dr. Veit's premier performance in the Chicago area, and he will perform works by Martynciow, Pickering, Bach, Tompkins, and a new original composition. The recital will be given on Wednesday May 24, at Faith Lutheran Church, 7:00pm. 41 N Park Blvd Glenn Ellyn, IL? 60137 The recital is free and open to the public with a suggested donation of $10. All donations will be given to the Heartland Marimba Festival, a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching lives through music making in Midwestern communities.
