The Glen Ellyn Historical Society celebrates Black History Month on Saturday, February 4 at 2:00 PM in the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main Street, by introducing their audience to Harriet Beecher Stowe. Actress Paddy Lynn interprets Stowe's life and times and offers many personal insights into this amazing woman. She was a wife, mother, educator, writer and more importantly a visionary. Uncle Tom's Cabin was a book that had a profound impact on America.
