Description
On Tuesday, January 10, at 1:00 p.m. members and guests of the Glen Ellyn Woman’s Club will meet at the Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane Street, in the Betty Clayton Hall meeting room to work on crafts that will be donated to the DuPage Convalescent Home. This annual project is led led by club member Donna Benshoof who is the Fine Arts and Craft Chairman. The purpose of this activity is to create a gift for the Convalescent Home residents that will not only provide them with a useful aid for doing small tasks that come up during the day, but also something lively and fun to look at during the winter months.
Another project on the agenda for the Jan. meeting is the collection of white socks for PADS clients. Members and guests are asked to bring their sock donations to the meeting. Guests are welcome and can call 630-469-6372 to notify the club they will be attending the meeting.
