Description
Dr. Charise Petrelli and staff have teamed up with LifeSource, Chicagoland's blood center, to host a blood drive in honor of Andrew Slone, a 32 year old who grew up in Glen Ellyn. After successfully winning his battle with thyroid cancer, he was diagnosed with two forms of leukemia and is currently fighting for his life. Blood transfusions are a vital part to Andrew's treatment and when his family and friends asked what they could do to help, his answer was simple. "Donate blood, so the next person who needs a transfusion will have it available to them!"
*** Participating donors will receive a goodie bag compliments of Glen Ellyn Dentistry containing coupons, promotions and samples from local downtown businesses as a symbol of gratitude. They will also be entered in a drawing to win several prizes, such as a Philips ZOOM Professional In-Office Teeth Whitening session OR a Xylishield Oral Health Care Kit. ***
