You are required to bring a few things as an entrance fee to our gathering. You MUST think of a person that is in need of joy, happiness or compassion AND make this person an AMAZING HAPPY BOX!! Please take some time to put things in the box that YOU feel will help this person in their time of NEED!! You may decorate the box in whatever way moves you! For example, if a friend has lost a pet, you could find some great quotes and pictures to put on the outside of the box. On the inside, you could put mementos that will make your friend smile, like a nice poem, a rock that says strength, or frame a little picture of your friend and the pet. If you need to give the box away before coming to the gathering, you may bring a picture of the box instead! Please bring a dish or dessert as well!! It would be great if you could bring multiple copies of your recipe to share with the group! And, of course, please bring ideas of organizations and individuals or families who are in need, and their contact information, so that we can start to donate time and resources! Don?t forget your motivation!!!

Research states that HAPPINESS helps make us healthier, more attractive and MORE SUCCESSFUL!! We have only had a few meetings, but our mission is to bring business owners together, who want to make a difference in other people's lives, and brainstorm HOW this can be a reality. So far we've come up with some great ideas! One of our ideas was to help the Veterans at The Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans by giving them the opportunity to help an elementary school with a sensory garden!! This idea helps give the Veterans a project to help them keep their minds positive and occupied by helping the children with sensory difficulties learn to grow vegetables and beautiful flowers! Another organization we are looking into helping is PADS, in Wheaton. We are looking for more members to join our LiveHappy Gals Group and more ideas of how to share HAPPINESS with organizations and individuals in need!! Caring, sharing and compassion will help EVERYONE INVOLVED!!
