The regatta begins at 12 noon. The Glen Ellyn 4th of July Committee will sell concessions, including burgers, hot dogs and sweet corn cooked by the Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Department, after 11 am. Visit www.glenellyn4thofjuly.com for info on the Picnic in the Park and 4th of July activities.

Fees/Admission
Fees to enter a boat in the regatta are payable through the Glen Ellyn Park District, pre-registration is required. There is no fee to attend the event as a spectator. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Description
Thrills and spills abound during this unique display of ingenuity, imagination and engineering! Gather a crew, build a boat entirely of corrugated cardboard, then sail a designated course on Lake Ellyn with your boat intact and all crew members on board at the finish line. Winners determined by fastest race times. Registration through the Glen Ellyn Park District only. Pre-registration is required. No on-site registrations accepted.
