Please join us for our April Member Meeting at Sushi Ukai as we learn about the importance of communication from guest speaker, Dr. Chris Miller, a professor of Speech Communication at College of DuPage.

Christopher Miller, Ed.D., is a Professor of Speech Communication at College of DuPage. Dr. Miller has been teaching speech communication since 1999. Dr. Miller holds a B.A. and M.A. in Communication and a Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership from Northern Illinois University. Dr. Miller’s dissertation focuses on the integration of concealed carry in higher education classes and the dynamics of adding a gun to the learning environment. Additionally, Dr. Miller was awarded the Overall Outstanding Faculty award at College of DuPage, authored an online resource textbook, presented at numerous conferences, and has extensive experience in intercollegiate forensics. Dr. Miller’s lectures focus heavily on communication theory and how communication is at the center of all things.
