Description
Psychologist Ferney Ramirez returns to GPS to discuss how to address children’s anxiety, hopelessness, irritability, poor school performance or a lack of motivation. He will help adults respond to behaviors they might not understand and provide compassionate strategies to foster skills that are essential for adolescents. Ramirez will also offer guidance on the role of emotional intelligence in a child’s lifelong success.
Ramírez is the author of 10 mental health publications. He is also the president of the Family First Organization and coordinates programs for families in Chicago and numerous Illinois school districts.
