Memorial Day Flag Planting on May 22 by Glen Ellyn Historical Society at Forest Hill Cemetary

Tuesday, May 22, at 10:00 AM in Forest Hill Cemetery, located at Riford Rd. and St. Charles Rd. the Glen Ellyn Historical Society plans to place flags on the graves of Civil War soldiers buried in the cemetery.  The public is invited to gather with the GEHS volunteers at 10:00 AM and walk together to locate the graces and place the flags. There is no need to sign up in advance.  Come and join the group and help place the American flags on the graves.  This Memorial Day remembrance began two years ago and has become an annual event.  For information call 630-469-1867 or check the website at www.glenellynhistory.org.
