Description
The Holmes Brothers are famous for their extraordinary three-part vocal harmonies that mix gruff and gravelly vocals with soaring falsetto and rich baritone pitches. At this concert The Holmes Brothers will perform audience favorites plus works from their critically acclaimed new CD 'Brotherhood' released this past April. 'Brotherhood' hailed by USA Today as 'glorious' 'full of soul and surprises', has been described as The Holmes Brothers' most bluesy album to date, filled with roadhouse wisdom, late-night doo wop, a proto rock 'n' roll punch, soulful R&B and closing with an amazing dose of Sunday morning spirit. This concert is presented in partnership with 90.9 FM WDCB Jazz & Blues Radio. Concert takes place rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and bring a blanket and picnic to enjoy at the concert. No outside alcohol will be permitted onto the property. Concessions available to purchase on site.
