This is a valuable marketing tool for your business that provides the opportunity to get your business name in front of new residents immediately upon their moving to Glen Ellyn. New residents are looking to find a variety of local retailers, professional services and community organizations to meet their needs.
Here is how the Welcome Bag program works:
Greeter Service reaches an average of 35-70 new residents in Glen Ellyn monthly.
You provide a coupon or a promotional item for your business.
o A Few Examples:

▪ Pizza Cutter
▪ Pens
▪ Notepad
▪ Tape Measure
▪ Magnets
▪ Coupon or Promotion
▪ And More
The Chamber provides a reusable shopping bag which includes; a welcome letter from the Chamber, with a map of the community, a Glen Ellyn Community Guide and the item that you provide. Welcome Bags are distributed at the Village Civic Center and
Chamber Office.
If you would like to utilize the Welcome Bag provide, provide us with your marketing
material. There is no additional cost to this program.
Bring your materials to the Glen Ellyn Chamber office (810 N. Main St). Please provide 100 of your promotional items for the six months.
