Marché, Glen Ellyn’s very own cheese and wine shop, is celebrating ten years of success by hosting an in-store festival full of flavor and fun on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Festivities kick off at the shop at 11:45 a.m. with a ribbon cutting and the ceremonial opening of an 80-pound wheel of specially imported Comté cheese. The celebration continues until 3 p.m. with bubbly toasts; special tastings, including Marché chef creations; fun-filled contests with prizes for the whole family; raffles for cheese boards, class reservations, wine bundles; discounts; and much more.
Founded in 2015, Marché is home to more than one hundred cut-to-order artisanal cheeses plus charcuterie, small-batch wines and spirits, specialty foods, and chef-made provisions—all offered by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Since its beginnings, Marché has focused on offering out-of-the-ordinary selections, which have grown to include specialty sandwiches, artfully arranged cheese boards, bountiful gift boxes, popular membership clubs, and fun-filled classes. As it looks to the future, Marché will build on its sterling foundation of tailored and expert service and specialty products to provide curated events, catering, and custom gift ideas for individual and business customers from Glen Ellyn and beyond.
