Glen Ellyn Carnival Returns August 20–23 with Rides, Games, Family Fun & New Taste Bucks Program
 
The Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce invites the community to the 2026 Glen Ellyn Carnival, sponsored by the College of DuPage, returning August 20–23 at the Crescent/Glenwood Lot (505 Crescent Blvd.) in downtown Glen Ellyn. This four-day community celebration features exciting carnival rides, games, concessions, and the new Taste Bucks program, encouraging visitors to support Glen Ellyn restaurants while enjoying one of the community's favorite summer traditions.
 
With free admission, more than 15 rides and attractions, games for all ages, and delicious festival concessions, the Glen Ellyn Carnival offers fun for the entire family while bringing thousands of residents and visitors to downtown Glen Ellyn.
 
Dates: Thursday, August 20 – Sunday, August 23, 2026

New for 2026: Taste Bucks
This year, in place of the traditional Taste of Glen Ellyn restaurant booths, the Glen Ellyn Chamber is introducing Taste Bucks, sponsored by Hogan Design & Construction, to encourage the community to dine at and support local restaurants throughout Glen Ellyn.
 
Adult Carnival attendees can receive a $5 Taste Buck (while supplies last) to redeem at participating Glen Ellyn Chamber member restaurants through September 20, 2026. Whether enjoying dinner before the Carnival, grabbing dessert afterward, or returning another day, Taste Bucks encourage the community to discover and support Glen Ellyn's outstanding local dining scene.
